The writing instrument features a brass body coated in transparent black lacquer and adorned with “Clous de Paris” guilloché. The Caran d’Ache logo and the “Swiss Made” inscription are engraved on the ring, while the cap button—silver-plated and rhodium-plated—bears the House’s emblem (a black-lacquered hexagon). It is fitted with a rhodium-plated 18-carat gold nib.
