Montblanc Alexandre Dumas Writers Edition Mechanical Pencil (SEALED)
This mechanical pencil is a "New Old Stock" item (old stock that has never been sold); it has never been opened and is still sealed. It is the edition bearing the son's signature.
Below you will find images of another mechanical pencil from the Alexandre Dumas "Writers Edition" collection that we have sold previously. The item you will be purchasing is the one shown above (SEALED).
The writing instruments from the Alexandre Dumas "Writers Edition" collection are every bit as perfect as the work of this great novelist. Crafted from exceptional materials, they feature a mysterious and shimmering appearance, enhanced by a dark brown precious resin cap. Every detail highlights Alexandre Dumas's personality: the clip adorned with a sword-shaped symbol, the 18-karat rhodium-plated gold nib—decorated with a fine engraving representing a fleur-de-lis—as well as the gold signature on the cap.
Note: the first items in the Alexandre Dumas "Writers Edition" collection bore his father's signature by mistake; a misunderstanding that made this version a rare collector's item.
Alexandre Dumas was one of the most remarkable novelists and playwrights of the 19th century.
